Vipal Rubber is celebrating fifty years in business in 2023.
It’s a double milestone for the company, with Vipal Rubber now in its 15th year providing tyre retreading products to the Oceania region.
The company celebrated with a conference in Auckland, which was attended by executives from partner companies and the Vipal Brazil and Argentina teams.
In total, nine companies participated: Tyre Doctor Group, Yokohama Australia, Tyreright Cavan, Tyre Lug Services, McNeil & NRM Pty, Henry Cumines Pty, and Arctic Cool Treads Pty, from Australia, along with Power Retreads and Tyre Retreaders, from New Zealand.
Attendees learnt about new products, special applications, and the full range of services offered by Vipal.
During the event, which took place at the Power Retreads headquarters, representatives could see the machines produced by the Vipal up close.. In addition to New Zealand, the brand’s machines are in several other countries on different continents: Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, the United States, El Salvador, and Spain.
Among Vipal Machinery’s lines is the VOC760 Cargo, an orbicushion that guarantees the application of cushion gum in the tyre retreading process with less execution time and precision, in addition to using automation components and reducing material consumption raw material and time in the final retreading process.
Another piece of equipment on show was the VR01 Smart Duo, a buffer with an exclusive spinning tower system, low energy cost per retreaded tyre and superior productivity with buffering up to 35 tyres per hour, reducing operating costs for the retreader.
“At the event, we shared many enjoyable moments with our Oceania customers, whilst bringing us together to celebrate the 15 years that we have been operating on the continent,” said Adalberto Fernández, general manager of Vipal Rubber in Oceania, who was accompanied by the company’s director of international business, Leandro Rigon, and Tiago Campanharo, commercial and technical support representative.
“This was an excellent opportunity for us to present to the Oceania executives two models of machines that combine both Vipal’s traditional quality standards with unique innovative equipment features that will advance our customers’ service capabilities.”
