The Tui Truck Stop Show and Shine is set to make its return to Mangatainoka on Sunday 26 March 2023.
Trucks from all over the country descend on Tui Brewery for the annual truck show. The event was cancelled last year due to the impact of Covid-19. Previous events have seen up to 150 trucks displayed at the brewery. Trucks from as far away as Pukekohe, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki and Christchurch have attended.
“We’re thrilled to be kicking off our 2023 Toki Motors events with the Tui Truck Stop Show & Shine. This event is the biggest of the year and a great day for the trucking community,” said Organiser Jesse Robinson.
“The truck owners and drivers put so much effort into preparing their rigs and we appreciate them taking time off the road to come to Tui Brewery. This event just gets better and better every year.”
The event is free to entertain and features live music, activities, brewery tours, great food, cold beer and other refreshments.
Truck owners or drivers can register their rigs for just $10 through their website. Tui Brewery puts all proceeds from registrations towards the show’s regular beneficiary, the Mangatainoka Reserve Restoration Project for ongoing work such as native planting, fencing and pathways.
The Toki Motors schedule continues on throughout 2023, with a total of nine Show & Shine events. Each show will take place on the last Sunday of the month. The series starts with the Truck Show & Shine in March, and finishes with Vintage Car Day in November.
