TRT New Zealand appoints new crane sales manager

TRT New Zealand has appointed Justin Cox to the position of crane sales manager, based out of TRT’s head office in Hamilton.
Cox’s appointment supports TRT’s continued focus on growth for Grove, Manitowoc, Kobelco, Potain, Hiab, and its own TIDD Pick and Carry Crane.
Bruce Carden, TRT’s director of innovation and sales says: “Justin brings a strong skill set and experience to TRT and we are looking forward to drawing on his past experience to enhance our capabilities and enable us to find new and innovative ways to solve problems for our customers.”
Starting his career as a diesel mechanic, Cox has progressed to business growth and management roles including national plant manager for McConnell Dowell Constructors Ltd, servicing and supporting various projects throughout New Zealand and remote islands within the Pacific region. After spending ten years in the civil engineering industry with McConnell Dowell Constructors Ltd, Cox was excited for a change to pursue new opportunities.
“This is an exciting challenge for me. Hiab cranes have been in New Zealand for over 30 years. They have a hugely versatile product range including everything from knuckle boom, and truck loader cranes to Zepro Truck Tail Lifts, Jonsered and Loglift Cranes, Multilift equipment, Moffett Forklifts, and Marine Cranes,” says Cox.
“Not to mention TRT is the New Zealand distributor for Kobelco, Grove, Potain, and Manitowoc Crawler Cranes. I am excited to represent not only world-leading and reputable products but also a business that has a supportive culture and an ethos of continuous improvement. I’m excited to continue and progress TRT’s distributor reputation for these quality products and I look forward to supporting our existing client base and creating new relationships.
