September will finally give our industry a chance to come together again after three long years and many cancelled events.
The Road Ahead, our conference, will be held on 28 and 29 September in Invercargill. For those of you who love to attend the Hall of Fame, the conference runs into that event, which will be held on Friday 30 September.

2022 Transporting New Zealand Conference – The Road Ahead
The conference will discuss all the important future considerations for the road transport industry. Expert speakers will provide valuable industry insights for your business, and ensure you are well prepared for sector challenges and opportunities. Whether it’s data, technology, alternative fuels, safety or workforce, there will be relevant topics and information for everybody.
The conference will also be a chance to have some great social contact with industry colleagues, and a chance to celebrate success through our industry awards.
Transporting New Zealand Industry Awards
Nominations are still open for the 2022 Transporting New Zealand Industry Awards. These awards recognise individuals, organisations and companies in and around the road transport industry that have gone above and beyond industry requirements.
The awards will be presented at a gala dinner following the conclusion of The Road Ahead Conference in Invercargill on September 29.
For some reason, the industry isn’t good at recognising success and we have often struggled for award nominations. Please do take time to think about who you could nominate for one of the following categories:
