Transporting New Zealand wants to better understand the social and wellbeing impacts that Covid-19 has had (and continues to have) on the industry. This will help the Association provide practical help to its members, and advocate for greater support from central and local government.

Transporting New Zealand has prepared an anonymous five-minute survey to get feedback from trucking operators. There is a survey link for employees (driver and non-drivers), and another link for employers (including owner-operators, managers and owners/directors).

$50 Prezzy Cards are up for grabs for those who want to enter.

“The trucking industry has played an essential role in New Zealand’s Covid-19 response, keeping shelves stocked and maintaining supply chains. We also know Covid-19 has placed unprecedented pressures on truck operators including increased workload, negotiating lockdowns, and dealing with economic uncertainty,” commented Dom Kalasih, general manager industry, Ia Ara Aotearoa Transporting New Zealand.
