It is with great sadness we acknowledge the unexpected passing of an icon and stalwart of the New Zealand road transport Industry.

Ross was one of the founding directors of Roadmaster Trailers Rotorua in 1991, with his roll progressing to CEO in the later years before the company was sold to MTE Group in 2018.

Ross remained within the organisation for a further two and a half years to assist with the transition to the new ownership.

Further on from this roll, Ross remained directly connected to the industry he enjoyed greatly, through working alongside transport operators offering financial solutions as well as mentoring.

Talking with those that Ross assisted, they speak highly of his knowledge and understanding of what it takes to operate a transport company in this day and age.

Ross will be sadly missed by many from within the road transport industry. The team at New Zealand Trucking Media would like to pass on our sincere condolences to both Ross’s family as well as his work mates.
