Prizes, careers, and relays at this year’s TMC Trailers Trucking Industry Show

The TMC Trailers Trucking Industry Show is less than three weeks away.
Taking place Saturday, 8 March at the Canterbury Agricultural Park, the day is filled with fun and excitement for the whole family.
“Get up close to big rigs, watch thrilling trucking demonstrations, and enjoy delicious food and drinks. This event is perfect for truck enthusiasts of all ages. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to experience the world of trucking up close and personal,” said David Boyce, CEO of the New Zealand Trucking Association.

The CAREERS TRANSPORT 2025 is an opportunity to meet industry professionals across the sector.
“CAREERS TRANSPORT is the ultimate opportunity to explore the many pathways this vital industry offers. You’ll have the chance to meet and talk with people who work in the industry and gain valuable insights,” said Boyce.
“This is New Zealand’s biggest transport industry show – a fantastic day out and a unique chance to learn about the amazing opportunities that exist in transport. Educators, encourage your students to attend! There will be resources on-site to help them plan their career pathways,” he says.
The event will give attendees the chance to meet industry professionals, explore endless career pathways in this vital, fast-growing industry, experience hands-on activities and live demonstrations, and connect with industry experts and discover real job opportunities.
The NZ Trucking Association and TR Group have also announced the return of the much-anticipated Trucking Relay at the show.
This competition will allow trucking professionals to showcase their skills in an action-packed test of coordination, teamwork, and a little friendly rivalry. The Trucking Relay will feature a series of tasks focusing on loading, truck manoeuvring, and teamwork.
Participants are encouraged to dress to impress in coordinated team uniforms or creative costumes. Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed teams. Places are limited so get in quick, registration are open now.
