Palfinger NZ has announced it will sponsor the truck-mounted Crane Competition at the TMC Trailers Trucking Industry Show, taking place at the Canterbury Agriculture Park in Christchurch on 11 and 12 March 2022.

“Palfinger has established itself as a world market and technology leader in truck-mounted cranes and what better place to showcase them than at New Zealand’s biggest Trucking Industry Show,” the company said.

A world-class course will be set up so that competitors can showcase their skills and measure their abilities against those of their peers. Competitors will each have a chance to take out the “Palfinger NZ Truck-Mounted Crane Champion 2022 Shield”.

Registrations for the competition open on Thursday 5 August. Only experienced current operators working in the industry can compete.

“We are very excited to see this competition come together. Seeing all the highly skilled operators come together to compete,” said Duncan Phillips, general manager at Palfinger NZ.

“It is going to be a spectacle and a lot of fun.”
