NZTA – Saddle Road Closed

Due to a transport related incident this morning, the Saddle Road is currently closed and a detour is in place via the Pahiatua Track.
The initial assessment indicates the closure will be at least 4 hours due to recovery of the vehicles.
Heavy recovery vehicles will be required to be brought in to assist in the removal of the truck.
Emergency Services and contractors are on-site.
An update will be posted on our website and social media pages as soon as the work is completed.
The NZ Transport Agency wants to thank road users for their understanding and patience.
