Mack to recreate Anthem out of Lego in world record attempt
Mack is hoping to turn a million Lego bricks into a world record.
Celebrating 60 years of making trucks in Australia, the Brisbane-based truck manufacturer is recreating its newest model, the Anthem, by using the blocks to build a life size replica.
It will be the Guinness World Record for the largest truck made from Lego bricks.
At four metres tall, two metres wide, eight metres long, a professional brick builder has been brought in to work on the replica.
The project has had months of planning, with 3D designs and detailing down to the colour.
The model will be as close to the original as possible, with people able to sit in the driver’s seat, as well as a steering wheel.
It takes up to eight days to manufacture an Anthem truck, but the replica will take around two months to make in time for the Brisbane Truck Show in March.
