As a result of the government announcement regarding the planned move for Auckland to alert level 3 at 12 noon on 12 August, Iveco Trucks NZ has the following operational guidelines currently in place and available for essential services.
Some of the actions implemented are:
-
Social distancing guidelines will be strictly adhered to by all staff
-
Dealerships will continue to operate at level 3 and parts and service will be available by appointment
-
Contact tracing and sanitation policies have been put in place
-
All servicing staff will abide by sanitising rules
-
All office staff will still be operational and working from home where possible.
“Our primary focus is to concentrate on the health of our staff, customers and suppliers, who are the key resources for our business, facility and the industry, and hence we have expanded on our safety measures to make sure all the necessary steps are put in place to look after the entire team,” says Jason Keddie, dealer principal – retail and wholesale operation, Iveco Trucks New Zealand.
Sales
The commercial sales team will continue to work from home throughout level 3 and are available by email and phone. Iveco is working on contactless test drive information and will provide information early next week.
“In partnership with you, our overarching aim is to ensure as little disruption to our customer‘s businesses as possible,” says Keddie.
Parts, service and warehouse support
The parts division is still operational, keeping in mind the safety measures that need to be adhered by the parts division.
The local warehouse at Wiri, Auckland is still operating at full capacity, with no foreseen risk at this point in time.
Iveco‘s workshop is still operational and will be offering contactless servicing, and will ensure that all vehicles will be serviced in a sanitised, zero-contact environment for ultimate peace of mind.
Warranty and technical helpdesk functions are being maintained, with relevant staff operating either onsite or from home.
Iveco office staff
Office staff are fully operational and will be working from home at level 3.
“In closing, may we extend our best wishes to you and your teams for your ongoing good health and wellbeing. We are committed to keeping you regularly updated on the measures being taken by Iveco to manage our way through what is a challenging period for us all,” says Keddie.
