IVECO New Zealand‘s all-makes parts business goes live across their dealer network today. IVECO has partnered with Diesel Technic, one of the largest suppliers of aftermarket commercial vehicle parts worldwide.

Diesel Technic supplies parts to more than 150 countries and has been in operation since 1972. Their extensive product range of more than 30,000 parts lines, their commitment to competitive pricing, and a 24-month parts guarantee made Diesel Technic an easy choice of supplier for IVECO New Zealand. They specialise in European truck, trailer and bus parts, with everything from electrical components all the way through to major engine and suspension components available.

“We have noted a gap in our local product range in New Zealand and after extensive market research we have come to the conclusion that as far as parts quality, range and pricing go, Diesel Technic was who we wanted to partner with,” said parts business development manager Elliot Barnard.

The Diesel Technic parts are stored at the Auckland headquarters and will be distributed via the 20 Iveco parts dealers nationwide.

Kristi Walker, dealer development manager, said IVECO has been focusing on growing and strengthening the dealer network in New Zealand for the past two years.

“We are proud to have one of the largest networks in the country and are pleased to be able to provide another revenue stream to our partners. Subsequently this also is a win for kiwi operators who will be able to see their vehicles serviced, regardless of brand, with quality parts in a cost-effective and timely manner.”

The initial stock order of nearly $100,000 has landed in Wiri with monthly stock orders set for the future. Any parts not initially stocked will be airfreighted in as needed.

“This is only the beginning of a very exciting time for IVECO and Diesel Technic,” said general manager, Ian Walker. “As we expand our product range and move into our newly built facility in Q3 we are making leaps forward in the commercial vehicle parts market which ultimately reflects in better product, better quality, better pricing and a better customer experience for all.”
