Iveco announces operational changes for level 2
On May 14 Iveco will welcome customers back to dealerships to view Iveco trucks, vans and buses, take test drives, or get their vehicle serviced at Iveco‘s Wiri premises.
“Our primary focus is to concentrate on the health and wellness of our staff, customers and suppliers, who are the key resources for our business, facility and the industry, and hence we are continuing on our safety measures to make sure all the necessary steps are put in place to look after the entire team,” the company has said in a statement.
Some of the actions implemented are:
-
All staff will strictly adhere to social/physical distancing guidelines.
-
Dealerships will continue to operate as per level 3.
-
Contact tracing and sanitation policies from level 3 will be continued.
-
All servicing staff will abide by sanitising rules and usage of PPE.
-
All office staff will be operational and back on site to regain business continuity.
-
Monitoring the total number of people within the dealership premises.
-
Collecting contact details from all visitors to dealership sites to ensure compliance with contact tracing guidelines.
The commercial sales team is back on premises throughout level 2 and available by email and phone. Strict measures will be followed to keep everyone safe.
The parts division is fully operational, keeping in mind the safety measures that need to be adhered by the parts division. The local warehouse at Wiri, Auckland, is also operating at full capacity, with no foreseen risk.
Iveco workshop is still operational and will be offering contactless servicing. Vehicles will be serviced in a sanitised environment for ultimate peace of mind. Warranty and technical helpdesk functions are being maintained, with relevant staff operating either on site or from home.
