Hino Motors Ltd has relocated its Ome parts centre global spare parts supply base in Tokyo, which will begin operation as the Hino Global Parts Center.

To achieve its goal of ‘Total Support customised for each vehicle‘ in its Challenge 2025, it is streamlining the supply system of spare parts. The new Hino Global Parts Center has sufficient space to cope with sales increases in the future, while aiming to shorten the lead time of spare parts through improved productivity and streamlined logistics.

The Hino Global Parts Center warehouse‘s layout has been improved to minimise the handling of shipping of parts. The introduction of cutting-edge technologies and automation of work has improved the workability, together with the nearly fivefold increase in the number of lanes for delivery and shipment of parts.

In addition, the Hino Global Parts Center has air conditioning equipment throughout the warehouse, a rest area for drivers, and a cafeteria annexed to a meeting room.

The Hino Global Parts Center will begin with the shipment of spare parts for overseas markets, gradually targeting the local Japanese market before becoming fully operational in August.
