Cold chain logistics firm Hall’s Group has announced the appointment of Gareth McFarlane as its new chief executive, effective March 31.

McFarlane brings 29 years of experience to the role, and a proven track record in driving performance and transformation across New Zealand companies. He joins the Hall’s Group from Coda Group, where he currently serves as logistics general manager.

The role has been vacant since October, following the departure of former chief executive Tonille Crombie, who moved on to become group supply chain and procurement general manager at Talley’s Group.
