On 21 November CVC held a customer evening at its Nelson branch. Both customers and suppliers were invited to celebrate a year of CVC in its new Lower Queen Street premises and 160 people joined the festivities.
While CVC has been operating in Nelson for just on 10 years, the move to the new premises a year ago has allowed it to grow with the demand in the Nelson area.
“The support from our customers in the area and support from suppliers has given us the confidence to invest in Nelson for the future,” says Lindsay Affleck, general manager CVC. From the Nelson branch, CVC is the Southpac parts and service dealer for Kenworth, DAF and TRP, as well as the Cummins parts, sales and service dealer for the area.
CVC has been operating for close to 35 years and has four branches in the South Island: Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill. The company is the UD Trucks and Hyundai Truck parts, sales and service dealer for the South Island. It has a UD/Nissan dismantling yard operating in Dunedin.
“While the past 10 years have flown by we now look forward to the next 10 years providing a service to the transport industry in and around the top of the South Island,” Affleck says.
