Bombay Truck Show 2025 raises more than $120k
The 2025 Transfleet Trailers/Allied Petroleum Bombay Truck Show has raised more than $120,000 for the local community.
Held on January 18, the Bombay Truck Show is the largest charity truck show in New Zealand, and features hundreds of trucks on display. More than 465 vehicles entered the UDC Finance Show ‘n Shine competition this year.
This year’s event saw more than $120,000 raised for charity, with the Bombay Rugby Club, Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand and Franklin Hospice all receiving $40,000.
The family friendly event features live music, kids entertainment, and food and drink stalls. Thousands of people walked through the gates to experience the show.
Prize categories include Best Volvo, which went to Fitchett Linehaul, Best Mack went to Newey Transport, Best Kenworth went to Mainline Distribution, Best DAF went to ORT, Best Japanese went to KT Cartage, Best Western Star went to MC & Sons, Best International went to GT Freighters, Best Scania went to Custom Trucks SCANIA, Best Mercedes went to Warren Arnet Ltd, Best MAN went to Darkside Linehaul, Best Freightliner went to CJ Ahrens ROMPER, Best Iveco went to HANES LOWVCO and Best Ford went to John Bailey.
The Rock & Rubble Best Fleet Award was won by Hanes, while the Lance Peach Memorial Trophy, Rig Of The Show award, went to C&R Development.
