With a record 16 truck OEMs representing some 23 brands, there’s certainly been plenty to take in at the 2023 Brisbane Truck Show.
Some of the big hitters at the show this year include the Kenworth K220 and the first new-generation DAF XG+ to be shown in the region from Paccar, MAN’s TG3 range and the new X-Series Western Star models from Penske, and Iveco’s all-new S-Way and T-Way trucks.
The 2023 Brisbane Truck Show also features the biggest showcase of zero-emissions vehicles ever assembled under the one roof in Australia, with multiple brands showing a variety of new alternative-propulsion models.
Among them, Mercedes-Benz made the first public showing of its new eActros and eEconic BEVs and Fuso displayed two versions of the second-generation eCanter. Isuzu previewed its just-released global ZEV platform. Volvo showed the FE, FL and FM range of BEVs – following the local launch earlier this week of the big FH Electric. And Kenworth displayed one of the T680 hydrogen fuel-cell trucks fresh from the USA.
Look out for a full report in the June issue of New Zealand Trucking magazine. In the meantime, here’s a preview gallery from the show.
