After a highly successful first show in 2016, expectations were high in November last year for round two. It‘s fair to say we were not disappointed.
The weather was not quite what TV3‘s Ingrid Hipkiss had promised us; however that was no deterrent to the organisers and participants at the Kumeu Truck and Machinery Show held late last year. The word on the street as to just how successful the 2016 show was had obviously spread throughout the industry as there was an increased number of rigs on display. The extremes to which many went in preparing rigs for presentation, not to mention the distances some competitors had travelled to participate, was evidence the show is cementing its place on the calendar. There were a number of attractions alongside the main event to entertain and captivate onlookers, like the Fire Brigade display and Mimico Excavator Competition. Congratulations to Karen, Amy and the team, and special thanks to all the helpers, especially Haley and the team from JLT. We cannot wait to return this year.
