The Turners Truck & Machinery Show has something for everyone
The third annual Turners Truck & Machinery Show, in association with National Road Carriers, will be held Sunday 2 December 2018 at a new venue – Pukekohe Park Raceway.
Check out the gleaming metal at the ever-popular UDC Show & Shine. A new category has been introduced this year, the Best Company Ute/Pick Up. This is open to people and companies outside the transport industry too, and you can enter online or on the day. The $40 entry fee includes a donation to the Pukekohe Volunteer Brigade and entry to the show.
The MIMICO Excavator Competition in association with Deals on Wheels also returns in 2018, with a slightly changed format. The new format will allow more competitors to take part, with only the best progressing through the day and making it to the final round. The specially designed obstacle course will test your skills and talents. Entries are limited, and the event sold out fast last year, so head to the website to enter: https://www.truckshow.co.nz
Whether you‘re a big kid or a little kid, a gold coin will buy you a truck ride around the racetrack, with donations going to the Pukekohe Volunteer Fire Brigade.
There are a lot of new and exciting things happening at the show this year, including the chance to join Dave West and the guys in their race trucks for some hot laps around the track. Book online to ensure you don‘t miss out.

Event manager and promoter Karen Black says there will be a large exhibitor area where you can check out the latest and greatest products and services in the transport industry, and plenty of entertainment for all ages.
“It‘s all about entertainment this year. We‘ll have a live band and an open bar from noon, and there are rides by Smile Amusements for the little ones.”
Robbie ‘Gooserooter‘ Shefford from Geraldine will be entertaining the crowd, and you can park your truck up for the night and roll up for a casual ‘meet and greet‘ on Saturday night in the bar if you‘d like to chat with Robbie. The bar will be open from
