CILT, NTA collaborate on health, safety and wellbeing
The New Zealand Trucking Association has entered into a strategic collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) to present the CILT Health, Safety, and Well-being Series.
It will be showcased at the TMC Trailers Trucking Industry Show on Friday 7 March in Christchurch.
The event will transform Friday’s Trade Day into an exclusive mini-conference for industry professionals, featuring insightful discussions on the evolving landscape of health, safety, and wellbeing in New Zealand’s transport and logistics sectors.
With a growing emphasis on proactive health, safety, and wellbeing measures, this mini-conference will be a unique opportunity for transport professionals, industry leaders, and stakeholders to engage in forward-thinking dialogue, gain valuable insights from thought leaders, and build connections that reinforce safety-focused, sustainable practices across the sector.
“Themed “The Evolving Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Landscape in Transport and Logistics Across New Zealand”, this inaugural event will explore the latest trends, challenges, and innovations impacting our sector,” said Dan Patrick, chair, southern CILT branch.
Keynote speakers and expert panellists will share real-world strategies for addressing HSW concerns, while attendees will have opportunities to discuss experiences and perspectives on key issues affecting their work and communities.
“We’re excited to bring industry champions together for this milestone event,” said Carol McGeady, COO, NTA and event manager.
“By collaborating with CILT, we’re creating an environment for meaningful conversations around the challenges the industry faces and fostering a stronger commitment to a safer, healthier, and more supportive industry.”
