Registrations are open for the 2023 Ia Ara Aotearoa Transporting New Zealand Road Transport Cost Comparison Survey.

All Transporting New Zealand members are invited to take part in the survey, which is being performed by the University of Waikato New Zealand Institute for Business Research.

By taking part in this survey, participants will receive access to the information it collects, including an individualised report (at no charge) showing how financial returns and overheads compare with other firms in the survey.

The close date for submitting questionnaires is Friday 10 November 2023. The survey results are planned to be published January 31, 2024.

Survey Details:

The survey is focused on financial results for road freight transport operations. If your organisation is unable to separate out the financial figures for your road freight operation (i.e. separate from other operations you run), please do not register, as unfortunately your data would not be able to be used in this survey.

Questionnaire: The survey questionnaire will be online and accessed through your web browser using your desktop or laptop computer. After registering you will receive an email containing your User Name and Password and a link to the survey web page containing the questionnaire.
