The Tui Truck Stop Show & Shine is getting ready to kick off at Mangatainoka in late March, after a one-year hiatus due to Covid-19.

Trucks are expected to come from far and wide for the annual truck show – a highlight on the New Zealand trucking calendar. The day provides an impressive display of big rigs for drivers, owners, truck lovers and families to admire.

The 2021 event attracted more than 100 trucks from around the North Island, and after last year’s event was cancelled due to Covid-19, the team at Tui Brewery said it is happy to be welcoming truck owners, drivers and enthusiasts back.

All proceeds from registration fees will be donated to the Hawke’s Bay flood recovery. There will also be collection buckets at multiple locations on the day.

“We’re all really excited about bringing the Tui Truck Show back to the Brewery this year, and the team are gearing up for an epic weekend,” said organiser Jesse Robinson.

“This is also an opportunity to give back to those affected by Cyclone Gabrielle. It will be a great chance to bring together the trucking community while also giving back to those who lost so much.”

The event kicks off at 11am, Sunday 26 March. Entry is free for spectators, and registration for truckies is $10.

There will be live music, brewery tours, great food, cold beer and other refreshments.

Trucks are invited to join the convoys departing from the Woodville Railway Station at 10am and Pahiatua Post Office Hotel at 10.15am.
