The IRTENZ Conference is getting ready to kick off next month, with the key theme of Evolution to Revolution: Keeping ahead of the decarbonisation challenge.
Taking place at the Jet Park Hotel at Hamilton Airport, the conference runs over two days on 16 and 17 November 2022.
This year will be the 17th year for the IRTENZ Conference. Key issues to be discussed include alternative power trains, hydrogen, electric and biofuel technology, commercial vehicle technology, and pavement and productivity impacts.
Key industry providers and operators will share their views and experience on how infrastructure frameworks are keeping up with facilitating these initiatives.
Day 1 will feature a welcoming presentation from IRTENZ president Chris Carr, with a keynote from Romesh Rodrigo from Daimler Truck Australia Pacific.
Other speakers include executives from Southpac Trucks, Keith Andrews, Scania New Zealand, TR Group, KahuEV, Hiringa, Transpower and the Ministry of Transport.
Day Two will see presentations from NZTA Waka Kotahi, VTNZ, MTA and TMC, as well as Fonterra, Carr & Haslam, Tranzit Group, HW Richardson, and Waste Management.
