Mack Trucks New Zealand will embark on the nationwide ‘Mack Evolution Tour’ in August to promote the release of the new Mack Anthem in New Zealand.

New Zealand’s first two units, both purchased by HWR Group, will start in Invercargill on the 6 August and finish in Whangarei on 7 September. The HWR Group has a long-standing association with the Mack Trucks brand.

The Mack Anthem was originally released in the US in September 2017 but it has been re-engineered by the local team in Australia to suit the exact conditions experienced by New Zealand operators.

“The Anthem boasts a fully integrated stand-up sleeper cab option as well as a full Bendix safety package making it one of the most comfortable and safest conventional trucks on the market today. The Mack Evolution Tour is about getting these new units out to our customers and staff so they can really see what these bold new trucks are all about,” said Stu Wynd, national sales manager for Mack Trucks.
