NZ Trucking Association rebranded

3 MinutesBy NZ Trucking magazineSeptember 9, 2020

The new branding represents the association‘s evolution into a more modern and progressive organisation in the road transport industry. It shows that the association‘s activities encompass all New Zealand and the organisation supports new and existing members with various programmes and positive initiatives.

A new association profile booklet has been launched to show the business support and activities that are available to members, along with the launch of the ‘Partnership Programme‘, now available to industry trade and suppliers. The association‘s members are transporting the New Zealand economy and can now proudly show their membership and support with a sticker that can be displayed on their truck window, office window, or on the back of the truck.

“The team has been working to pull this all together for some time and we are so proud of what we have achieved in the past and what the future looks like. Our Trucking Business pack is under way and will evolve over time, it will just keep getting better and better. It will become the ultimate essential programme for anyone entering the industry,” says CEO Dave Boyce.

“It will be free for members and as updates are added they will also be made available. The new Transport Business mentoring programme is open for registrations. If you are finding it tough or you just need to throw an idea around, then we will match you with a business owner who can offer business mentoring suited to you. It is completely confidential and is a free service for members.”

The association‘s major initiatives are the Penske Road Safety Truck, Trucking Industry Show, Trucking Industry Summit, Transport Careers Hubs, and the Trucking New Zealand Drivers Club. Current campaigns include ‘Trucking Along, Let‘s Talk‘ and the ‘Counts Campaign‘, which is a way suppliers can promote their products and services to the members and industry through social media.

Please contact the team if you would like to join and become one of the valued members or if you would like to partner with the association. You can request the association profile and partnership pack by emailing accounts@nztruckingassn.co.nz, or by contacting Dave, Carol or Rebecca on 0800 338 338.
