Iveco Trucks New Zealand, in its continued growth to seek and attract quality people to its new-look business, has announced the appointment of two new staff members.

Coming from a position of strength offshore, Robert Woods has joined IVECO New Zealand as truck sales manager.

“I know Rob very well from my time managing South Africa,” says IVECO‘s general manager Ian Walker. “Rob was an excellent DP in charge of one of SA‘s biggest dealer group‘s sites in Johannesburg. We also jointly promoted the used truck business in Southern Africa in the areas of Zambia and Zimbabwe. Rob has all of the skills available to ensure our growth continues in New Zealand while at the same time challenging our processes to ensure we deliver fantastic service.”

IVECO were also quick to secure the services of Richard Field as Daily Van and bus sales consultant for the South Island.

Walker adds, “I know Richard well and his knowledge and understanding of the South Island market is so valuable to our growth in LCV in this area. Added to this, Richard‘s expertise in the mini bus market at the same time we are launching our new award-winning Mini Coach is the icing on the cake.”

Richard is based out of the new truck and van workshop facility of New Zealand Trucks in Christchurch.
