Trucks and Trailers has appointed Callan Short as their new truck sales consultant, covering the Central North Island region for the Freightliner range. 

Callan has a solid truck background; both his father and brother operate log trucks in the Rotorua area and Callan also drives log trucks when required. 

He completed a three-year parts apprenticeship with TRT in Hamilton before joining the parts department for Southpac Trucks in Rotorua.

“It‘s a great opportunity for me to make a statement in the transport industry and I‘m looking forward to the challenge ahead,” he said.

Trucks and Trailers sales manager Kevin Curran said the timing was right for them and they excited about bringing some young blood into the industry.
